Remote FTP Backup

Saving your backups on the local server or even local computer may inhibit you from recovering your data in a time of crisis. Therefore, we now offer Remote Backup solutions for all of our clients.

As an additional feature, you may purchase backup space in gigabyte allotments. The price for each gigabyte is $5 per month.

What You Get

• 24 x 7 Remote FTP Access to your backup space
  
  
• Backups stored on a Mirrored Raid for redundancy
  
  
• Our Backup Solutions are on high speed access so you may retrieve your backups quickly.
  
  
• Backup space does not count towards your hosting plan allotments.
  
  
• Each Gigabyte costs $5 per month and you can upgrade / downgrade any time you want.

Backup Restrictions

• This is NOT a place to share your files with anyone else.
  
  
• Only the account holder or representative may login and download / upload files
  
  
• No WAREZ or illegal files may be stored
  
  
• No public access allowed.
  
  
• No web access will be provided to the backups.
  
  

Remote Backup Tutorials

For our cPanel hosting clients, we have created backup tutorials. This process is extremely easy to do and takes less than 5 minutes. Once your backup is completed it will be transferred to the server and you will be E-Mailed. Please view one of the following:

How to Order - Existing Clients

If you are an existing client, you may login to the billing system and click follow these directions:

1. Mouse over "My Sites" at the top of the page, then click on Packages
   
   
2. Click on your package name, ie: Basic, Silver, Platinum, Gold
   
   
3. Under Account Details click the radio button tyat says Change Add-Ons for the EXISTING Base Package then click the Continue button
   
   
   
   
4. On the right side, you will see a select menu for Remote FTP Backup / Monthly: which you may select how many Gigabytes you want to purchse. Remember, these are Monthly prices.
   
   
   
   
5. The final step will calculate the prorata monthly cost until your next billing date. Click Continue & Apply Changes
   
   

Backups are setup manually within 24 - 48 hours from the time of order. Please watch your E-Mail for additional information.

How to Order - New Clients

New clients may order backup space during the signup process. Simply select how many Gigabytes of backup space you wish to have.

Note: Backups are NOT automatic. Any time that you want to make a backup, you must perform this procedure.
