xcontroller Remote Backup Tutorial

If you are using xcontroller (Basic and Silver pans), and you have purchased our Remote FTP backup solution, please follow this guide to performing your backups.

Note: These backups are NOT automatic. Any time that you want to make a backup, you must perform this procedure.

Step 1

Once you are logged into cPanel, click on the Tools icon:

Click on the Backup link

Step 3

In the Backup Manager, click on "Generate/Download a Full Backup"

Step 4

Enter the information that you were given for the remote FTP site, such as server, username and password. You may leave the Port and Remote Dir empty.

Step 5

Backup in progress! Your back is now being created and once it is done, you will be notified by E-mail. Please review the E-mail as it will tell you if your backup was sucessfully transferred to the remote server.
